Gouda Grits

Ingredients
- 3 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth (or stock)
- 4 oz Deli smoked Gouda (or Gruyère) cheese
- 1 cup quick-cooking grits
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Steps
- Bring broth to a boil in medium saucepan on medium-high. Shred cheese.
- Add grits to broth and whisk to combine, then reduce heat to low and cover; simmer and stir 8–10 minutes until smooth and creamy.
- Remove from heat; stir in cheese, salt, and pepper. Serve.
