Tornado-impacted areas of Georgia receive help from Publix

Working with Feeding the Valley Food Bank, Publix donated ground beef, lunch meat and canned vegetables to provide 3,000 meals. With the help of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Red Cross, these meals are being delivered daily to affected communities.
“We’re always committed to serving our communities, especially in times of need,” said Publix Atlanta Division Community Relations Manager Brenda Reid. “As a community partner, we wanted to help in any way possible. Providing residents and first responders with nourishment as they recover from and respond to this disaster is our way of doing our part to make a difference.”
